略歴
日本大学理工学部薬学科を卒業後、造形の道へ進む。造形作家・友永詔三、彫刻家・細井良雄、木彫家・牧田裕次郎に師事し、国立劇場では文楽人形のかしら（頭部）制作を修行した。創型会会友を経て、現在は無所属で制作を続けている。日本橋髙島屋、京王プラザホテルロビーギャラリー、埼玉県立近代美術館などで個展を重ねている。
Born in Saitama, Japan. After graduating from the College of Science and Technology, Nihon University, with a degree in pharmaceutical science, she turned to the path of sculpture. She studied under the modeling artist Shozo Tomonaga, the sculptor Yoshio Hosoi, and the wood-carving artist Yujiro Makita, and trained in the carving of Bunraku puppet heads at the National Theatre. A former member of the Sokei-kai, she now works independently. She has held numerous solo exhibitions at venues including Nihombashi Takashimaya, the Keio Plaza Hotel Lobby Gallery, and the Museum of Modern Art, Saitama.

사이타마현 출생. 니혼대학 이공학부 약학과를 졸업한 뒤 조형의 길로 들어섰다. 조형작가 도모나가 쇼조(友永詔三), 조각가 호소이 요시오(細井良雄), 목조각가 마키타 유지로(牧田裕次郎)에게 사사했으며, 국립극장(国立劇場)에서 분라쿠 인형의 가시라(かしら, 머리) 제작을 수련했다. 창형회(創型会) 회우를 거쳐, 현재는 어느 단체에도 소속되지 않고 작품 활동을 이어가고 있다. 니혼바시 다카시마야(日本橋髙島屋), 게이오 플라자 호텔 로비 갤러리, 사이타마현립근대미술관 등에서 여러 차례 개인전을 열었다.

In der Präfektur Saitama geboren. Nach ihrem Abschluss in Pharmazie an der Fakultät für Naturwissenschaften und Technik der Nihon-Universität wandte sie sich der Bildhauerei zu. Sie studierte bei dem Objektkünstler Shōzō Tomonaga, dem Bildhauer Yoshio Hosoi und dem Holzbildhauer Yūjirō Makita und erlernte am Nationaltheater (Kokuritsu Gekijō) das Schnitzen von Bunraku-Puppenköpfen (Kashira). Nach ihrer Zeit als assoziiertes Mitglied der Künstlervereinigung Sōkei-kai arbeitet sie heute unabhängig. Sie hat zahlreiche Einzelausstellungen gezeigt, unter anderem im Nihombashi Takashimaya, in der Lobby-Galerie des Keio Plaza Hotels und im Museum für moderne Kunst der Präfektur Saitama (Saitama Kenritsu Kindai Bijutsukan).

What I carve are gentle, beloved things — animals, children, and the like. Receiving energy from the wood, I have found healing in myself through the works I create.
I wish to deliver a single ray of loving light to as many hearts as possible. With a prayer for peace, I devote myself to my work.

Je sculpte des êtres doux et aimés : des animaux, des enfants, et d'autres présences semblables. En recevant l'énergie du bois, j'ai moi-même été apaisée par les œuvres que je crée.
