磯井正美は、香川県高松に生まれた漆芸家。人間国宝の漆芸家・磯井如真の子として育ち、父に学んで蒟醤（きんま／漆を線で彫り溝に色漆を埋めて文様を表す技法）を究めた。点や線を緻密に彫り込み、色漆を埋めて生まれる精巧で品位ある文様で知られる。父子そろって蒟醤で人間国宝に認定された。

Isoi Masami was a lacquer artist born in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture. Raised as the son of the lacquer artist and Living National Treasure Isoi Joshin, he learned from his father and mastered kinma, a technique in which the lacquer surface is incised with lines and the grooves filled with colored lacquer to form patterns. He is known for the refined, dignified designs created by densely carving dots and lines and filling them with colored lacquer. Father and son were both designated Living National Treasures for kinma.

이소이 마사미는 가가와현 다카마쓰에서 태어난 칠예가이다. 인간국보 칠예가 이소이 조신의 아들로 자라며 아버지에게 배워 킨마(옻을 선으로 새기고 그 홈에 색옻을 메워 문양을 표현하는 기법)를 궁구했다. 점과 선을 치밀하게 새기고 색옻을 메워 생겨나는 정교하고 품위 있는 문양으로 알려져 있다. 부자가 함께 킨마로 인간국보로 인정되었다.

Isoi Masami était un artiste de la laque né à Takamatsu, dans la préfecture de Kagawa. Fils de l'artiste de la laque et Trésor national vivant Isoi Joshin, il apprit auprès de son père et maîtrisa le kinma, technique consistant à inciser la surface de la laque de lignes puis à remplir les sillons de laque colorée pour former des motifs. Il est connu pour les motifs raffinés et empreints de dignité nés de fines incisions de points et de lignes remplies de laque colorée. Père et fils furent tous deux désignés Trésors nationaux vivants pour le kinma.

Isoi Masami fue un artista de la laca nacido en Takamatsu, prefectura de Kagawa. Criado como hijo del artista de la laca y Tesoro Nacional Viviente Isoi Joshin, aprendió de su padre y dominó el kinma, técnica en la que la superficie de la laca se incide con líneas y los surcos se rellenan de laca de color para formar motivos. Es conocido por los motivos refinados y llenos de dignidad nacidos de incidir densamente puntos y líneas y rellenarlos de laca de color. Padre e hijo fueron designados Tesoros Nacionales Vivientes por el kinma.

Isoi Masami war ein in Takamatsu in der Präfektur Kagawa geborener Lackkünstler. Aufgewachsen als Sohn des Lackkünstlers und Lebenden Nationalschatzes Isoi Joshin, lernte er von seinem Vater und meisterte das kinma, eine Technik, bei der die Lackoberfläche mit Linien eingeschnitten und die Rillen mit farbigem Lack gefüllt werden, um Muster zu bilden. Bekannt ist er für die verfeinerten, würdevollen Entwürfe, die durch das dichte Einschneiden von Punkten und Linien und deren Füllen entstehen. Vater und Sohn wurden beide für kinma als Lebende Nationalschätze ausgezeichnet.
