池上秀畝は長野県に生まれた日本画家。荒木寛畝に学び、花鳥画や山水画を得意とした。文展、帝展など官展系の展覧会で活動し、伝統的な筆法をもとに、鳥、花木、山水を整った構図で描いた。郷里長野にゆかりの深い作家としても紹介される。代表作に《松竹梅》《四季花鳥》が確認でき、長野県立美術館などに作品が収蔵されている。

Ikegami Shuho was a Nihonga painter born in Nagano Prefecture. He studied under Araki Kanpo and excelled at bird-and-flower and landscape painting. Active in the official-exhibition circuit, including the Bunten and the Teiten, he painted birds, flowering trees, and landscapes in well-ordered compositions grounded in traditional brushwork. He is also introduced as an artist with deep ties to his native Nagano. His major works The Pine, Bamboo, and Plum and The Four Seasons in Flowers and Birds are documented, and his pieces are held by the Nagano Prefectural Art Museum among others.

이케가미 슈호는 나가노현에서 태어난 니혼가 화가이다. 아라키 간포에게 배웠으며 화조화와 산수화에 능하였다. 분텐, 데이텐 등 관전계 전람회에서 활동하며 전통적인 필법을 바탕으로 새, 화목, 산수를 정돈된 구도로 그렸다. 고향 나가노와 인연이 깊은 작가로도 소개된다. 대표작으로 《송죽매》 《사계화조》가 확인되며, 작품은 나가노 현립미술관 등에 소장되어 있다.

Ikegami Shuho était un peintre nihonga né dans la préfecture de Nagano. Il étudia auprès d'Araki Kanpo et excella dans la peinture de fleurs et d'oiseaux et le paysage. Actif dans le circuit des expositions officielles, dont le Bunten et le Teiten, il peignit oiseaux, arbres en fleur et paysages en compositions bien ordonnées, fondées sur un pinceau traditionnel. Il est également présenté comme un artiste profondément lié à sa Nagano natale. Ses œuvres majeures Le Pin, le bambou et le prunier et Les Quatre Saisons en fleurs et oiseaux sont attestées, et ses pièces sont conservées notamment au Musée d'art préfectoral de Nagano.

Ikegami Shuho war ein Nihonga-Maler, geboren in der Präfektur Nagano. Er studierte bei Araki Kanpo und tat sich in der Vogel-und-Blumen- sowie der Landschaftsmalerei hervor. Tätig im Umkreis der staatlichen Ausstellungen, darunter der Bunten und der Teiten, malte er Vögel, blühende Bäume und Landschaften in wohlgeordneten Kompositionen, die auf einem überlieferten Pinselduktus gründen. Er wird auch als Künstler mit engen Bindungen an seine Heimat Nagano vorgestellt. Seine Hauptwerke „Kiefer, Bambus und Pflaume“ und „Die vier Jahreszeiten in Blumen und Vögeln“ sind belegt, und seine Arbeiten befinden sich unter anderem im Kunstmuseum der Präfektur Nagano.
